ADJUSTING ENTITLEMENTS FOR TERMINATION

Hi,

I am trying to an adjustment of entitlements for a employee that has left.

the Unused RDO and holiday pay was not linked to the entitlements and didn't reduced it.

I then did an adjustment payroll with the -75.90 for RDO and -245.47 in unused holiday pay and the sick pay -182.94.  there was a total net pay -$13,112.09 and this hasn't reduced the entitlements.

How do I fix this error correctly.

Hi @Jackio 

 

Apologies for the delayed response. 

 

If you have already recorded the termination payments correctly, and only need to reduce the entitlement hours left, you can consider recording a $0 adjustment pay and manually reduce the hours only. This is done via Process Payroll, remove all amounts from the pay then manually enter negative hours against the entitlement accrual categories so only the leave balance is updated, no amount is paid.
