I was wondering how could I move to start using timesheets instead of just using process payroll.

To enable the use of timesheets you would go to Setup>>Preferences>>System - I use Timesheets for xx and My Week Starts on xx. This will allow you to go navigate to Payroll>Enter Timesheets to enter in your employee hours for the period.
It should also be pointed out that you may want to navigate to the employee's card and zero out the Standard Pay - Card File>>Card List>>Select the Employee's card>>Payroll Details>>Standard Pay - zero out the payroll categories. The reason for this is that when processing pays for an employee AccountRight will add the Standard pay to an employee's timesheet hours. So to avoid a double up of hours you want to zero out the Standard Pay so you are only paying them the timesheet hours.

Thanks very much. We also have Staff who are on Salary / fix fortnightly payments. Would it affect our existing setup after we start using timesheets?

Hi @jorge
No, having employees paid by salary will not impact that ability to process pays for hourly employees.
Salary employees will appear in the Enter Timesheets>>Employee selection list, as this list is showing all active employee cards, however, even they are accidentally selected you would only see their hourly payroll categories for selection.
