Additional Incentive Skills Shortage Program

Good morning everyone 

 

.Have you seen the latest fact sheet on the additioanl incentive skills shortage program?

I can't find any where how to implement this in MYOB 

 

Silly me, I looked in the support notes

 

Can anyone help?

Hi @Zappy 

 

My understanding of AISS is that it is claimed and paid the same as other apprenticeship incentives. From an AccountRight perspective you could record a Receive Money transaction to account for the payment received.

 

As we are not accountants or tax advisors we are not permitted to give advice on the account allocation or tax codes. As such, you will need to speak to an accountant or financial advisor for specific advice.

 

With regard to payments to the employee, the fact sheet provided by you states:

 

AISS payments are made directly to the recipient’s nominated bank account.

 

I take this to mean that the employee payments will made be straight to them, as other apprenticeship incentives are.
