Can we create a back dated payroll for owner directors starting July 2020 (current financial year) and process at one go in current month?
Payroll has never been set up in myob system and directors needs to get salaries at least for current financial year.
Since STP reporting is not yet mandatory for closely held employee, not sure of any other implications.

From an AccountRight point of view, a user can enter a payroll transaction in a previous period. You just need to ensure that you have entered the appropriate payment date when processing that pay.
Alternatively, you could enter that historical information through the Pay History of the employee. Help Article: Enter historical information would be able to assist with that one.
