Cannot Record Payroll Transaction in new MYOB 2020.1

Today is payroll day, I cannot process payroll in the MYOB 2020.1, I have selected pay all employees monthly and the pay date and pay period. But it shows a missage that No records exists or match your criteria.

Has anyone had this problem, I have seen forums about this issue for MYOB 2019.1 posted in March 2020.

Re: Cannot Record Payroll Transaction in new MYOB 2020.1

Hi @monicarcsa

If you were running a payroll and received an error like this:

paynoemployees.PNG

It means that none of the active employees’ in your file have a Pay Frequency that matches what you selected on the previous screen. So if you had selected a Monthly pay basis, if none of the employees in the file had a monthly pay frequency of monthly then there would be no employees to select.

I’d recommend reviewing the employee cards, under the Payroll Details >> Wages and checking the Pay Frequency to confirm what frequency the employees are set to. If they weren’t set to monthly you would need to select the relevant pay frequency to pay those employees

Regards,
Neil
