Changing employee card details whilst in payroll

Hi,

 

I am using AccountRight Live V19.9. On a couple of occassions I have needed to add a category to someone's pay whilst I am processing the pays.

 

For example, I may need to add that Joe Bloggs now gets a meal allowance. Why can't I do this whilst I'm doing payroll. I'm sure I could do this in previous versions or companies I have worked at and used MYOB payroll.

 

If someone could answer my query it would be much appreciated as this is causing problems for me in that I don't always get told that an employee needs an addition until I'm half way through payroll.

Can an MYOB person please help

Hi 

 

I posted a query about 2 weeks ago regarding changing a card file whilst in payroll. I have had no answer and was hoping therefore MYOB may be able to answer my query please. I have floated my query to the top if that helps.

I'm sorry to see that no-one has offered their assistance on your enquiry

AccountRight v19 doesn't have the option to add in a payroll category whilst processing the payroll, you would need to close the Process Payroll window, add the category to the employee and then go through the Payroll>>Process Payroll again.

The ability to add to payroll category while processing the pays was added to the AccountRight Live range with the AccountRight 2014.1 release. You can do this using the Add Payroll Category button at the top of the Pay Employee window.

To check what version of the program you are using going to Help>>About AccountRight.
