Hello MYOB Team
please find below our answers to our questions.
The administrator (with full perission to everything) and the office account with permission to banking / sales & purchasing cannot see the customised reports which were created. Also we can create a new report and save it but are unable to view / run it.

Hi @RandIEwing
We have identified that with AccountRight 2022.10 users would need to have access to the base report that the custom report originated from to have access to that custom report. For example, if the user needs access to a custom Customer-- Sales [Customer Summary] report they would need access to the Sales section in the Index to Reports. You can review a user's level of access through the Setup>>User Access window.

Why do we keep getting this incorrect answer.
Several people have stated that even as Administrators who have full level of access cannot see the reports and sales managers that cannot see the sales reports.
Basically it seems that with the update all existing custom reports have been lost and we have to start all over again and recreate our custom reports. Is this the case?
And if so what level of security do we have that in future updates other customised forms and even our data is not going to be lost in updates?
There is no point in having this forum if we are going to get robotic answers that don't address the problem and help to find solutions.

Based on our testing and diagnosis of the situation we have undertaken, users that have access to the base report would also have access to the custom report. Should they not have that access then they don't have that custom report listed in the Index to Reports.
If you are experiencing a different situation, I would encourage you to start a new thread on the Forum so we can deep dive further into your unique situation.

Hi Steven
My situation isn't unique and it is what this thread has been about from the beginning so why would I start another thread. Every one on this thread is saying the same thing.
Prior to the update we had many custom sales reports and purchasing reports. After the update users with full access to both sales and purchasing base reports could no longer see their custom reports. (That includes myself in the Administrator role who should be able to see everything.
The same users without changing any user roles or permissions have had to go and recreate all of their custom reports and can now see them. So the only explanation is that all of our custom reports were lost in the update.
If what you are saying is correct then I should have been able to see all of our old custom reports after the update and I could actually only see one aged payable report.

Then how do we go back to the previous version?
What a ridiculous upgrade path to take.
I have staff that used to simply balance the EFTPOS takings at the end of the day with the undeposited funds, now I have to give them access to my entire business financials.

We are grateful that we can now view and recreate critical report data to manage our company. And we have access to the recently prepared reports. Thank you.

Hello Iris,
As far as my software here goes there has been no change and MYOB still haven't posted a fix nor updated the software or told us how we can roll back to the working version prior.
MYOB:
If I am incorrect and a fix has been made can you please advise?

Hello Derek,
Sorry also I am not aware of any global changes that have been made to the reporting section either. However, our custom reports have reappeard and we are able to create, view and run our custom reports just like we were in the past.
Did you let MYOB know the following to see if they can assist?
