Editing payroll transactions

Hi,

We are using one of the custom fields on the employee card for working location.  So far the options have been the full city names i.e.Sydney, Melbourne, etc.  We have gone into the custom lists and shorten the names to just SYD, MEL and so on.  When I export payroll transactions I get both the old and new names and I would like to edit the old transactions with the new names.

I'm currently having to change these manually in excel every time I export. Is there a way of doing this change permanently in MYOB?

Thanks

Costas

Re: Editing payroll transactions

Hi @CostasP,

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately currently there isn't an option to edit payroll transactions once they are recorded. If you wish to change certain details in the payroll transactions, you'll need to delete the transaction and re-record it again.

Editable Payroll is a popular idea on our AccountRight Idea Exchange board, if you wish to see this feature also I would suggest casting your vote for it. The number of votes greatly helps our developers to identify the needs and prioritise their work.

If you have more queries, please feel free to post again at any time.

Cheers,
Clover
