Emoloyee start dates

How do I get a report out that shows the start date of all of our employees?  The report employee employment details does not show start date?

The employee's start date will be listed on the Employee Employment Details report - Reports>>Payroll>>Employees

I'm not a big fan of that report if you want to check one particular point of information such as start date, it generates a page per employee and can't be exported to Excel so makes it challenging.

 

My recommendation would be to use the File>>Import/Export Assistant and export out the employee card information that you require i.e. the fields would be Co./Last Name, First Name, Start Date and any other additional fields. By doing it as an export of the data, it will give you a text file which can be opened in NotePad or Excel or another application and if you have export just those fields out you need it makes it clearer to check the information as it would be in a list form.
