Employee signed new contract, do I need to change the start date?

Hi,

 

One of our employee just got promotion and she signed a new contract.

 

The start date on the contract has changed to one week before, do I need to adjust the start date in MYOB accordingly?

Hi @AdminMEG 

 

I would recommend speaking with Fair Work Australia or a similar organisation with regards to whether or not you need to change their start date if they have signed a new contract.

 

In terms of AccountRight, the start date doesn't serve much of a purpose on the employee's card. The only thing it will do is show as the start date on the Payment Summary if a date this payroll year was entered.
