Entitlements error

Some of our employees have an Above Award rate under ATO Reporting Category Gross Payments as well as a Base Hourly rate which is the Award Rates under ATO Reporting Category Gross Payments.  We are trying to tell the Above Award Rate not to accrue any Entitlements but when I try to do the exemption and hit the OK key it comes up with "EntitlementPayrollCategory_ExemptionsNotHourlyWages".  I am sure I was able to do this on other occasions and certainly before the ATO Reporting Category came into play.  How do I fix this to be able to have the 2 x categories without the entitlements doubling up every pay.

Re: Entitlements error

Hi @JGW

Can you please refresh the entitlement by following the steps given below and then attempt to exempt it from the accrual :

  1. Click the Equals "hours per pay period" radio button
  2. Click Equals % percent of gross hours radio button
  3. click ok If getting the message when changing the calculation basis to the % calculation
  4. retype the % amount eg 7.6923%

Let us know how you go on with that.

Kind regards,
Komal

Re: Entitlements error

Yes I tried that and it worked thankyou.  The only recommendation would be to take note of what you already had exempt because when you go from one to the other to reset it also resets to none being ticked as well and you have to go from scratch whereas I just wanted to add a few to the already prepared list.
