Incorrect tax witheld on long service leave payout

I just processed a pay for long service leave payout only.  After finalising it, I realised I didn't calculate the tax witheld amount correctly.

Usually I would just reverse them and redo it, but it has been reported via STP.  How do I fix this?

Thanks

Mary

Re: Incorrect tax witheld on long service leave payout

Hi @MaryV

You can delete the payroll and re-enter.  When you submit the payroll again via STP the ATO will take the year to date figures for the payroll categories for the employee.

Re: Incorrect tax witheld on long service leave payout

Hi Renae,

Thanks for confirming, that's what I would normally do but I wasn't sure if it would affect the reporting.  Thanks again for your help, you're a gem :-)
