Hi we are currently in the process of testing MYOB Team and have a couple of questions:-
1. In our Roster - how do we add unpaid breaks? It seems the Roster breaks as paid.
2. Can we account for Overtime? And that is assigned to another pay rate?
3. Can we assigned the hours captured on the roster to a couple of Pay rates? eg. Base Hour and Afternoon shift loading.
Thanks!

Hello @grace4
1. In our Roster - how do we add unpaid breaks? It seems the Roster breaks as paid. When using the clock on/off method, breaks are unpaid. Essentially, anytime an employee "clocks off" using the app, they will not be paid. So for a break, they would simply "clock off" for the duration of the break and "clock on" to start recording time again. Please see this Help Article: Track your time using MYOB Team, for more info.
2. Can we account for Overtime? And that is assigned to another pay rate? Overtime could be added by the employees clocking off later than they normally would, however for pay rates, the app just tracks total time and allocates it to Base Hourly. It would need to be manually split out later if it is to be paid at a different rate.
3. Can we assigned the hours captured on the roster to a couple of Pay rates? eg. Base Hour and Afternoon shift loading. Unfortunately that is not yet a feature of the app for the same reason as the above query: the app is only looking at total hours and allocating those to Base Hourly.

Sometime an employee could Clock on/off earlier/later than rostered but we pay them for the time that was rostered. So in MYOB we would normally approve the Rostered hours not the Timesheet hours. However, we need the timesheet to confirm their attendance onsite. Can we create a roster with unpaid breaks?

Hello @grace4
You can create a roster with unpaid breaks. Please see the linked Help Articles in the last reply, as the steps to do this are fully outlined there. Specifically, you'll be looking at Using the MYOB Team admin portal Help Article and referring to the query on How to Add, Publish, and Edit a roster.
Kind regards,
Emily
