NSW Payroll tax, Jobkeeper

Hi,

The NSW Payroll tax annual reconciliation, under Jobkeept payments asks ;

How many NSW employees are you claiming for?
What was the total liable component of the wages paid to these employees? (Include this in Salaries and Wages on the Wage details page)

What was the total exempt component of the wages paid to these employees?

Is there an easy way to get MYOB to export that data?

(or do we have to manually seperate the payroll data from Jobkeeper employees)

Re: NSW Payroll tax, Jobkeeper

Hi @stroltz

Thanks for your post and apologies for the delay in replying to you. The JobKeeper summary report in the Payroll Reprting centre>>JobKeeper payments tab will tell you how many employees you claimed for.

You could run the Payroll Category Transactions (accrual) report and filter by the JOBKEEPER-TOPUP category to get the total amount paid as top up amounts. The Payroll Summary report, in the Payroll tab>>Payroll Categories, will also display the total paid as JobKeeper top up.

I hope this helps. Please do let me know if you need further assistance.

Re: NSW Payroll tax, Jobkeeper

I also had to manually calculate the total liable wages for the employees on job keeper.

Re: NSW Payroll tax, Jobkeeper

Hi @stroltz

I'm not quite sure what is classified as the liable wages for employees on JobKeeper, but, as only the top up amounts are allocated to a specific payroll category you would need to manually calculate this amount.

Please let me know if you need further help.

Cheers,
Tracey
