I backed up an online data file and restored to local drive so I could do some testing in payroll.

However the tests created a file to be transmitted to the ATO (which I did not send as they were only test transactions)

Is there a way to delete these reports so they cannot be accidentally sent to ATO.

Hi @Grant_Wilson 

Thanks for your post.  While you cannot delete pay runs from the payroll center you do not have to send them.  Deleting isn't an option since the system is meant to retain information for auditing and reporting purposes.  However, if mistakes are made you can correct them and then update the ATO with the YTD figures by completing a $0 pay run.
