Hi,
The difference between the two reports in two employees is the holiday leave loading. It is less on the STP report, all other amounts are the same. What have I done wrong?

Hi @AerotorPL
If the difference is just due to leave loading category, please check the ATO Reporting category assigned for this payroll category. If it's gross payments, please ensure that it's not exempt from PAYG. This is because if categories assigned to gross payments are exempted from PAYG, they won't show in the STP report.
In order to correct it, you would have to do a $0 payrun after making necessary modifications in the payroll category as that would send the updated information to the ATO.
Please let me know if you have further questions on this.
Kind regards,
Komal

Thank you for your reply, that is very helpful.
Because I had the PAYG withholding ticked exempt in Holiday leave loading -
I thought we didn't pay PAYG on holiday leave loading ?
How do i do a $0 payrun?
Is it just the one to amend the whole amount for each employee?
what date can I use?
Will I have to be paying more PAYG?
Kind regards

Hi @AerotorPL
Generally, these categories do not have tax exempted and you can refer to this article: ATO leave loading for details. However, if you're unsure, you can discuss this with an accounting advisor or ATO to ensure that reporting is correct.
In order to do a zero dollar payrun, please follow the steps on this help article as it has detailed steps on that: Leave loading missing from STP.
Kind regards,
Komal
