Payroll set up

I have set up Living Away allowance and Meal allowance in Accountright - these amounts are included in Gross Wages figure on Payroll Register (Summary) report.

I note from the previous payroll system used that these allowances are not included in Gross figure.

 

Can I please have some advise as to whether I may have incorrectly set up these allowances?

Hi @Sandraisx

 

Thank you for your post. In AccountRight these allowances will appear in gross wages in Payroll reports as they are listed as a wage category. However in the STP reports, these allowances will be listed separately. Our article Allowances has further information on how this is set up in AccountRight.
