Permanent Employee to Casual

Hi,

We have an employee who has resigned from her Permanent position but is staying on Casual. All her entitlements have been paid out except personal leave.

I have unticked her to accure entitlments, made her casual and changed her pay rate. My question is what about her personal leave? Do i zero this out somehow or leave it?

If she down the track comes back permanant for whatever reason will that accured personal leave be still sitting?

Thanks

Re: Permanent Employee to Casual

Hi @Jnet

Thank you for your post. Generally you can adjust the personal leave to 0 via a payrun, our help article Adjusting leave entitlements has instructions on how you can do this within AccountRight. However if you're not sure, we do recommend speaking to Fair work in regards to this.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
