STP Reporting

About to post the STP report for 30/6/19 and notice that Holiday Leave Loading and Motor Vehicle Allowance amounts YTD are not getting included in Gross Wages despite being assigned as Gross Payments in the ATO Reporting Category. How do I get these amounts to report?

Re: STP Reporting

Hi @LynR15

Generally, this situation will occur if you have set the wage category to be exempt from PAYG Withholding i.e. if you go to Payroll>>Payroll Categories>>Wages>>Select the category and Exempt is PAYG Withholding it ticked? If that category is ticked to be exempt it will not be included in the Gross Payments for payroll reporting, as it's not taxed.

If that is intended to be included, then you would be looking at unexempting it for PAYG Withholding (untick PAYG Withholding in the exempt window) and then completing a zero dollar pay run.

Kind regards,
Steven
