STP

I have just started to use STP from this financial year.  However I accidentally did and sent out the first pay run in the old way without using the STP.  How do I go in MYOB to back-date report that pay run to ATO?

Re: STP

Hello @Fung280996 ,

Once you record subsequent pays for this financial year, for those employees, the 1st payroll for the year can be ignored (as with every lodgement, MYOB will only send the YTD values to the ATO, so any previous nill YTD values will be updated by your second lot of pays)

For more information, please see the FAQs section called "What gets sent to the ATO?" in the article below:

Re: STP

So that first pay run will still be included in the coming year Payment Summary?

Re: STP

Yes, as an example:

- If you paid $1000 gross in the first pay for July to Employee X.

- and then you set up your STP.

- then you record a 2nd pay for July for Employee X with $1000 gross, MYOB will report the full $2000 gross year to date value to ATO for that employee.
