STP2 - You must specify a category warning

Hi Community

I have just converted a MYOB file over to STP2 and with the other files I have converted it gives the option to send an updated pay event to confirm the conversion is complete.

The MYOB file is showing that it is on STP2 now, however when I try to run the 'update pay event' I am getting a warning sign that says 'You must specify a category'. This client does use categories but I have converted another client over who uses categories and it was not an issue, nor do I see how it would be related to payroll anyway.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, does it just correct itself on the first payrun processed under STP2?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: STP2 - You must specify a category warning

Hi @Jo_Hunt,

Thanks for reaching out.

So that we can investigate this further with you, could you please provide a screenshot of that error when it occurs?

Please hide/remove any sensitive employee/business details from screenshots posted publicly.

Kind regards,
Sam
