STP2 transition before first pay 2022/23

Hi there,

We have had a few terminated employees in Payroll year 2021/22, but wish to finalise 2021/21 payroll year first before changing to STP2.  We will then change over to STP2 before the first pay run for 2022/23.

So is it correct to assume there is no need to undo termination dates as not a "transition" to STP2 during the payroll year and there will not be any pays for these terminated employees in 2022/23?

Thanks

Re: STP2 transition before first pay 2022/23

Hi @Basketball

Thanks for your post. You'll just need to make sure those terminated employees are reported correctly and finalised in the 2021-22 payroll year. As they won't be active employees in the 2022-23 payroll year they will not be reported in Phase 2.

Please let me know if you need further help.
