Super on salary sacrifice amount-Confused!

Hi all,

I have a query that I'm second guessing myself about and hoping someone could clarify please.

Our sales guy wants to sacrifice his bonus of 4,000.00 to his super. So I'm thinking I enter the $4,000.00 under bonus and then enter the same amount under salary sacrifice.

but my question is I'm pretty sure that this $4K would also attract 9.5% super as well, am I right?

So he doesn't want to go over a certain amount so it has to be $4k total incl. super.

Do I enter $4,000.00 as a bonus and then $3620.00 to salary sacrifice and the other 9.5% goes to his normal super??
