Tax Changes

I have just paid salaried staff and have noticed a decrease in tax, can someone please advise if this is correct and there has been a change in tax brackets please - Many Thanks

I'm not aware of any recent decreases in tax brackets. So we can ensure that AccountRight is producing the required PAYG amount would you mind confirming the following information:

  • What is the version of the software you are using? - Help>>About AccountRight
  • What was the payment date of the payroll transaction?
  • What is the gross amount of that pay?
  • Is that pay split up across multiple payroll categories?
  • What was the PAYG amount that is appearing?
  • Within the employee's card>>Payroll details>>Wages - what is the pay frequency?
  • Within the employee's card>>Payroll details>>Taxes - what is the listed tax table?
  • Is there any Extra tax or Rebates listed in that Taxes section for the employee's card?
