Termination employee - Superannuation

Hi there,

We have a employee has been terminated and all the final pay including ETP have been done. Next step I am going to notify ATO the tremination date via STP process, also will be added termination date on the employee's card in MYOB. the question is if done above both steps, could I still submit the terminated employee's superannuation via Clearing House later?

Thank you.

Re: Termination employee - Superannuation

Hi @VVV973

Thanks for your post. Yes you can pay that employee's superannuation as a part of your normal super payment. Terminating an employee won't remove the super or other payroll liabilities.

Please do let me know if you need further help.
