Transition from Full Time to Part Time

Hi there

I need to transfer an employee from Full Time to Part Time .6 (3 days per week).

What is the best way to do this.  I'm hesitant as I don't want to stuff it up......

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find plenty of useful information.

 

It is very easy provided you have everything setup correctly.

As part time they will still accrue Holiday and Personal leave at the same % as they did as full time employees.

The same applies to Super G'Tee so there should be no need to change any of those wage categories or unlink them from the employee card.

The only things you really need to change on the employees card are:

Under Payroll Details > Personal Details change their Employment Clasification if it has changed and their Employment Status to Part Time,

> Wages change their hourly rate to the new rate of pay,

> Standard Pay change the number of hours to their new rostered weekly hours.
