Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020

I tested this, rolled over the year to 2020/2021, didn't fix it

Still get zero balances on entitlements

@Steven_Mas a matter of urgency - can you please advise about leave entitlement balances? Can I process my payrun even though entitlement balances are at 0? What are the ramifications and how do I rectify this??

Have you already finalised your STP with the ATO and did any of your employee's have a leave day in this weeks wages?

Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020

Hi - I have processed my payroll in full and all has worked correctly now.

I checked the STP reporting centre first and it was in the new year. I then checked after and today's payroll had gone into the 2020/2021 tab.

My entitlements have all continued correctly and are showing on the payslips correctly (I did write down what they were beforehand to check- but I have a small payroll so this was not a big thing)

Hope that helps.

Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020

Thank you Tanialmm

I feel a bit more confident processing now.

MYOB needs to hear all of our concerns. This is payroll, and we all know just how important payroll is and that you don't stuff up payroll its your employees lives we are dealing with.

Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020

@StevenR Tax Tables still showing revision date of 01/07/2019.

In previous years there was an option to load new tax tables ; i assume that is also supposed to be automatically updated this year.

Payroll date is today..get it together.

Pls advise.

Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020

I'm wondering if your entitlements automatically calculate that there is a problem.  My entitlements are user entered  (I just enter the amount in the Standard Pay tab when setting up an employee) - and I haven't had a problem with them not carrying over.

Just a thought.

Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020

We have contacted our auditor to ensure that MYOB applications are from now on classified as high risk and advise organisations to move away.

B4 and other auditors need to be informed as well.

let's take MYOB down!!!
