Update MYOB to Version 2020.2 still can not process pay on Jul 20

Apparently we can do nothing until 10am - ridiculous!!

When will MOYB be issuing an apology for the absolute failure of it "upgrade" to end of year payroll processing.  You removed the end of year guides that were used by many because it suited MYOB.  Then you make a change which makes it impossible to process payroll like users have always because again it is easier for you.  We the MYOB users have to field the calls from our employees asking why they haven't be paid, so at a minimum someone at MYOB should take accountability for their stuff up.

Apparently we will be able to do them after 10am - but you onloy find that out if you ring MYOB. 

Where is the communication about this? We are the clients MYOB.

Hello, i am trying to process pay payroll today, but it still give me the same errror message. You can only enter pays for the current or previous financial year. Please help. Today is my payroll day and i have 100 employees need to pay. Thanks

MYOB needs to add a new process whereby you actually send your members an email when crucial issues like this arise.

Instead we have to hunt through the forum of complaints and misinformation.

Hi. I am unable to process pays for 1 July 2020 today. I have completed all my end of year payroll processes. I am getting the error message you can only enter pays for the current or previous financial year. My financial year in the system is 2020

I have the same problem.  No, this did not solve the problem. 'You can only enter pays for the current or previous financial year".  I am not able to process any pays while this error message appears. The system won't allow me to progress through the payroll assistant at all, even if I change the end date to 1/7/20 which would not be correct for our payrun.

This is still an issue ,we cannot process a pay .The error message "you can only enter pays for the current or previous financial year"

it has started processing as of 10am, close it down and re-open and you should be fine
