pay error

Hi Last month we paid a staff member and it was deleted later in the month by mistake.

The orginal STP report shows the correct details  As I understand it the YTD is now incorrect

I think we should re process the pay but I am not sure how this will effect the STP

I hope you can advise me what to do

HI @J53 

 

If a pay has been deleted incorrectly, this will need to be redone and rereported to the ATO through STP. When you do report through STP the YTD figures for that employee as of the time of the pay are sent through to the ATO.

 

So as long as the YTD figures are correct as a result of the redone pay then the figures sent through to the ATO will be correct
