Hi @Elisem

You can create a new hourly payroll category for the new pay rate and link it to this employee.  This post, 2 different pay rates has a great explanation by @GDay53

I'll also give you the links to help articles -

Payroll Categories

Wages

Please let me know if you need further help.

Cheers,
Tracey

Re: setting up emoloyee casual and part time with different pay rates

Thank you for your response.  I believe I have done all that.  I have it all working except I don't want the casual hours to accrue holiday pay and sick leave.  However I have these ticked as they need to accrue for the part time perm position he has.  It would also be great if I could split the super as the wages are going into different expense accounts.  Appreciate your advice on how I do this.

Look forward to your response

Elise

Re: setting up emoloyee casual and part time with different pay rates

Hi @Elisem

To stop leave accruing on the casual category you will need to exempt it by going to Payroll Categories>>Entitlement tab>> Exempt and select the casual category.  There is more information on this in the Wgaes link in my previous post.

Generally speaking super should calculate on both categories as they are both part of OTE gross payments.

Please let me know if you need further help.
