BAS Online Lodgement

Is there a reason I keep getting the attached error when trying to lodge

"We can’t get in touch with AccountRight right now, so we can’t open this activity statement. Please try again later."

Hi @DenDen

 

I have seen this particular error be thrown when you don't use Payroll but have set up the W Fields in your Activity Statement setup.

 

If you don't use Payroll, I'd be going to the Activity Statement fields and checking that the W fields have nothing linked.

 

To get to the Activity Statement fields:

1. Go to: Accounts > Prepare BAS

2. Click Prepare Statement under Lodge Online

3. Sign in if necessary, then click Settings in the top-right and choose Activity Statement Fields

Hi @DenDen

 

My thoughts would be that it is trying to find information for Field Setups that haven't been used in the current period, would you be able to check your Activity Statement Fields and see if there is anything set up that has not been used in the current period?

 

If the fields look to be correct, we'd like to organise an investigation. So I can do this, can you please send me a Private Message with:

  • The MYOB Serial Number (Found in: Setup > Company Information)
  • The Company File ID (Found in: Help > About MYOB AccountRight)
  • A screenshot of your Activity Statement Fields (See; How To Take A Screenshot)
  • Your best contact details
