Re: BASLink

Hi @Johanna1

In order to resolve it, you would have to confirm what version of the software you are using by going to Help--> About MYOB AR, and then following the steps given below specific to the version:

Classic version (v19.16, v19.15, ....v6.5, etc.)

If you are using Classic software versions, you would have to fix the BASLink corruption on your computer by following "Runtime Error 53" help article.

Account Right Live (2019.4, 2019.3...2013.5)

If you are using live version  of the software, you would need to modify bcrypt.dll and ncrypt.dll files files. You can do this by going to the Baslink folder, which should be located at C:\Program Files (x86)\MYOB\AccountRight\2013.1\AU\BASlink. It could also be in Program Files if you are using a 32 bit operating system.

Once in the Baslink folder locate the bcrypt.dll and ncrypt.dll files and delete them.

Afterwards go to C:\Windows\System32 and find the bcrypt.dll and ncrypt.dll files and copy them to the Baslink folder. Please be aware that accidentally deleting or moving the wrong files in this location can cause serious harm to the operating system.

Feel free to post if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Komal
