Bank Balance varies between TB and Category Balance Sheet

WE use 3 categories and this month the Bank balance showing on the Category report for only one of the Categories varies from the TB. I checked the other 2 categories and their balances are correct so its not a sthough something was posted in there b msistake. 

I have found 2 anomalies. Part of the differnce was a depost paid to a supplier against an order. In the TB and consolidated accounts the Supplier Deposit is showing but it is not showing in the category report. To get around it, I reversed the depost and dealt with that abother way so now I just have one small balance difference of $276. I cannnot see any transcations for that amount;the bak rec balance and matches the TB but the Category Balance Sheet is wrong, (Bank Account and Accounts Receivable).

Any ideas as to what would cause this and how I can fix it?

In this matter, you would need to check if the general ledger, company data auditor, and payables reconciliation reports are correct. We also recommend speaking to your accountant to check those reports and transactions to ensure they're reporting correctly.
