Baslink function

Scenario:

If you have clients that have gone from two individuals to now trading under a trust (1 abn, 1 BAS). They still have two separate MYOB Accountright Live files. what would they need to do. Could they still keep the same two MYOB files but lodge just the 1 BAS via the BASlink? Or do they have to have the 1 file? How does it work?

Re: Baslink function

@ivanlodi

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find plenty of useful information.

I would look at it being a whole new entity - different ABN number and it should have it owns file.

You can still keep the two individuals seperate in the  file by using Jobs or Categories.

By doing this you can then run reports as well as P & L on each.

Having the one file you would then just run the BASlink function and create the one BAS.

If my response to your query and has helped, please mark my post as a solution to help others in the future.
