GST on items report

Hi

I have a client who deals with fruit and veg. Most of their transactions are GST free, however there's the odd item that they sell that attracts GST. One of the staff inputs the invoices (there's a fair few), and I want to run a report to ensure that all the items have been coded correctly and no adjustments have been made in the invoice tab to change those items that attract GST to GST Free.

At present, the only reports I see are on an account code, Tax or customer basis, but not on an item basis. Am I missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Sue

Re: GST on items report

Hi Sue007,

I'm not aware of a standard report in MYOB but there are reporting addons that can do it

ExcelReportLink Sales Pivot is one of them. The layout below was created by dragging fields into the pivot table to include Items and Tax Codes on the one line

@Sue007@JeffreyStephens

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find plenty of helpful information.

Not sure exactly what you want on your report but if you go to Reports > Sales > Item Detail Report.

Up the top click on the Insert / Modify tab then go to show/hide.

First choose Hide all then start choosing from the left, Date, Name, Quantity, Amount, Tax and Tax Amount.

Then click ok. Go back to the Filters tab and click on the refresh button you get the following report.

From this you can quickly see which items jave been charged with or without GST.

Also once you create a report and you want to keep it click on the save at the top and you will get a Save Report As box open and you can then name and describe the report and it will be save in your Custom Reports.
