MYOB Online BAS Lodgement debit delay

MYOB Online BAS Lodgement debit delay

We've started using the MYOB BAS Lodgement for the simplebas stuff now and while the first lodgement went through with no issues and was debited overnight, the current lodgement we did on the 24th on Jan 2018 has been debited from our account, our business portal with the ATO shows it was received and processed. Is this a delay with debit due to the ATO issue recently or is it a delay because the ATO gives business a two month grace period at the start of the new year for BAS lodgement?

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge

From an MYOB point of view, AccountRight doesn't arrange for payment to be taken from clients bank accounts for online BAS. Lodging online will only arrange for the reporting and lodgement of your BAS values. If payment is required it will need to be done through electronic payment or through another approved ATO method.
