W1 amount is different to MYOB report

My W1 amount on my IAS differs to my payroll report in MYOB.  I just altered the figure last month but it has happended again so there must be an underlying problem.  In a previous post, it was suggested to log into your BAS and click on Settings to see what is being captured in the W1 field but I can't find the Settings.  When you say log into your BAS, do you mean Prepare BAS/IAS?  I'm not sure I am looking in the right place. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: W1 amount is different to MYOB report

Hi @MichB17

Thanks for your post. To check the settings of your BAS/IAS you do need to log in through Prepare BAS/IAS. If you lodge online, in the Lodge Online tab click Prepare Statement and then click the Settings option. Make sure that all applicable payroll categories have been selected in W1.

If you make any changes to settings you will need to click Update from ledger for those changes to take affect.

These help articles have detailed information to help you with this:
