changing to a calendar reporting period and its effect on payroll

Hi there, we are changing to a calendar reporting period so have done an 18mth period to finish this year on 31 Dec.  Before we close the year,  just wondering how this will impact on the payroll module, as this clearly needs to report July to June.

Re: changing to a calendar reporting period and its effect on payroll

Hi @JoKorman

The payroll year runs independently from the financial year in AccoutnRight and, as you have indicated, is always July to June in a company file.

Kind regards,
Steven

Re: changing to a calendar reporting period and its effect on payroll

Hi @JoKorman

As they are independent, there is no impact if you have a different financial year to the standard payroll year.

Kind regards,
Steven
