Reconciliation

Just wondering if anyone can help.

I have taken over a new job and found that 2 transactions have been reconciled yet still show to be reconciled. This doesn't make any sense. The problem is can I fix it they are old ones is  dated 1/5/2021 n the other dated 1/7.

Also 1 is supplier payment n the other customer payment

Hi @Sashap 

So we can investigate this further, can you please confirm if they showing as unreconciled in the reconciliation report or Reconcile Accounts window? 

Can you please also perform the following test so we can confirm if the file is corrupt or not:

1. On the Reconcile Accounts window:
1. Enter the closing date of your latest bank statement in the Bank Statement Date field.
2. Enter $0.00 in the Closing Statement Balance field.
3. Select all transactions as cleared and take note of the Calculated Statement Balance.
2. Go to Find Transactions > Accounts tab.
3. Select the bank account you're trying to reconcile.
4. Enter the closing date of your latest bank statement in both the Dated From and To fields.
5. Press the TAB key on your keyboard and take note of the Ending Balance in the bottom-right of the screen.

Please let us know if the Ending Balance is the same as the Calculated Statement Balance.
