Document Manager - Failed to download file from server

Hi,

 

When we try and open up a number of saved documents it comes up with the following error.

Is there a solution for this?

 

Failed to download file from server.

C:/MYOB/Data/DMFS_VPMSER/2015/201512....etc

Please try again.

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum - we hope you find a wealth of info here!

 

Can you advise :

 

  • Does this error occur for all users, or only one?
  • Does this error occur on the server?
  • Have you recently performed a server migration (moving DM components to a new server)?
  • What is the rest of the message?
  • Does it only occur for particular document types?  (such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF etc)

The below knowledgebased artice was able to resolve my issue.
