Lodgement being performed by error

I selected lodgement to lodge a tax return using AE. 

My Computer's hard drive crashed at that moment, and is spending hours trying to rebuild itself.

I need to lodge returns but when I do we get the errror message "Lodgement being performed by XXX"

 

How can I reset this?

 

Also - Where has your knowledge base gone?

Hi @RPD,

 

To clear lodgement in use, please do the following:

 

From MYOB AE (Practice Manager)

1. Select Maintenance -> Tax -> Administration

2. From the AE Tax Administration application, select Utilities -> Clear single user locks...

3. Enter in the TAX password, the default is: ASSERT

4. Tagging and lodging should be ticked alread, click OK to clear the locks.

 

From System Release

1. Open the Tax 2016 ledger (or your latest version)

2. Select Utilities -> Clear Single User Locks

3. Enter in the TAX password, the default is: ASSERT

4. Tagging and lodging should be ticked already, click OK to clear the lock.

 

That should be it.

Hi Stuart

 

Thanks for the reply - but I do not have a menu option called Clear Single User Locks

 

I am using AE Tax version 2016.1

 

When I open a tax return and select lodgement, the only options are:

Electronic

Update

ATO Statistics

Month Due Report

Verify ATO Listings

Other Reports

BAS/IAS lodgement status report

Table Maintenance

Budget Maintenance

Hi @RPD,

My apologies, I should have specified you need to be in Tax, not a tax return. This can be accessed by going through System Release, or from within MYOB AE (Practice Manager) choose Maintenance ->Tax -> Administration.
