Printing Client Accounting Reports to Excel - numbers as text

When exporting reports to Excel from Client Account Reports all numbers come through as Text fields, therefore can not be calcualted on. Is there a way to sorrect this? If not this along with the ability to export a Trial Balnce to Excel needed to be added to enhancement requests.

To correct this you would need to highliht the column or the cell with the numbers, right click and select Format Cells ...

Under the Number section, you can then select number and click OK to accept this.

I think as an enhancement request this should be done with the export.

I had the case of 12 month, monthly comparison report. I had to unmerge the cells first and then coloumn by coloumn convert the data. I know it only take 5 minutes, but export should export as usable data. This is an example of upgrading software that is actually a step backwards.
