Statutory Reporter in Client Accounting

The note to accounts for Property Plant & Equipment excludes a category of fixed assets which is included in the balance sheet eg includes 1-2110, 1-2120 but not 1-2200, 1-2210. I can't work out how to check the configuration of notes to account to correct this.

Re: Statutory Reporter in Client Accounting

HI @tomf,

Thank you for your post.  I hope that you are finding the MYOB Community Forum a great resource tool.

In reference to your query about the display of the Plant & Equipment note, we have the following Knowledge Base available on this:

KB 36548: How do I show all the information from sub folders in the Plant and Equipment Note?

I recommend that you read the above article.  It advises that this occurs when you have a detail accounts in the sub folders, but no header accounts in the account group allocations.

To access the configuration of the account groups, in Statutory Reporter click on Account Groups located on the left hand Task panel to review your account group allocations as mentioned in the above article.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Linda

Re: Statutory Reporter in Client Accounting

Thanks Linda

I did eventually work it out. I presume I can set up a detailed balance sheet (no notes) as a practice level report?

Re: Statutory Reporter in Client Accounting

Ok great - sorry for the delay in responding @tomf.

Customisations can be done either at a client level or at a practice level.

Customisations at a practice level can be done via Maintenance > Client Accounting > Practice Report Settings.

If you want to set up a detailed Balance sheet (ie no notes) then you can make this customisation in the Practice Report Settings noted above.

Note: Just keep in mind that when opting to print a detailed Balance Sheet you may need to do this for all Entity Types.

I have attached a screenshot that might help Smiley Happy
