Statutory Reporter

Currently the only balance sheet and profit and loss reports you can get from Statutory Reporter are in a format where the balance sheet and profit and loss figures are summarise into totals and you must refer to the notes for details of what balance sheet and profit and loss items make up the total. This format of accounts is suitable for big public companies but not for small business. Majority of small business clients get very confused having to continually refer to the notes many pages away.

We suggest for future enhancement:-

The balance sheet and profit and loss reports you can get from Statutory Reporter need to be in the format where all account details are shown on the balance sheet and profit and loss and not broken down into notes or at the very least allow the option to NOT use the notes format for balance sheet and profit and loss items and summarise totals.

Re: Statutory Reporter

Hi @Eunice

Really sorry for the delayed response.

Thank you for your suggestion.

We have created enhancement requests that have been passed on to our Product Development Teams to review regarding the detailed profit and loss report.

In order to see details for the balance sheet - de-select other notes in the report list. Please see below.

With this however we did experience Property, Plant and Equipment not showing detail even when this had been deselected.

Now in our latest release 5.4.29.123, when you deselect the Property, Plant and Equipment note on the reports list, the detail from that note will now be displayed in the balance sheet.
