Tax Tracking unable to open after loading Tax 2015

Receiving the error Incorrect application template when trying to launch tax tracking after installing Tax 2015. I have tried copying the DS6TT090 file from Sol64 to Sol63, can't find anything else in the knowledge base to try.

Hi Liddy,

You could try rebuilding the Tax templates by doing the following:

1. Backup or snapshot your MYOBAE folder, ie: M:\SOL64
You could also make a copy of the DS6OP010 file which contains all the ledgers.

From a workstation:
1. Open a command prompt
2. Change to your MYOBAE network drive, ie: m:
3. Change to your SOL64 folder, ie: CD SOL64
4. Run the following command:  SR SYSTEM\OP\CONFIG SYSTAX

This will rebuild the Tax ledgder templates but please make sure you have a backup first.

Thansk for your post - and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum - we hope you find it a valuable resource!

 

Have you followed the suggestion provided by Stewart (@SB_Systems)?  These steps should resolve this issue if the Tax templates installed correctly.

 

However, if these steps didnt work - can you confirm whether AntiVirus was turned off during the install?

Also - are you able to open the 2015 Tax Ledger?  Is the error only occuring with Tax Tracking? or when opening Tax 2015 as well?

Tried the procedure but it didn't make any difference - still get message Incorrect application template when trying to launch tax tracking

sorry to hear that the steps provided did not work.

 

Can you please confirm :

 

  • the Date modified for the following files:
    • DS6TT090 in the SOL64 folder
    • DZZTT010 and DZZTT090 in Sol64\S6 folder
  • Whether AntiVirus (and it's Real Time Scanning) was disabled during install

Turned anti virus off on server and reinstalled - this fixed the problem
