failed to load 'S6vDate' from S6vInput.ocx

Hi all,

Keep on getting the above error on users remote desktops when accessing ast and reports. When logging on to the server, everything works fine..

Checked permissions and everyone has full control over the myob directory...

Hi Bosco

Assets are installed on each workstation.

You will need to uninstall Assets and reinstall it.

Re: failed to load 'S6vDate' from S6vInput.ocx

Hi Mark and thanks for the reply.

After a bit...of digging, it turned out to be the reporter.

Sorry, I should've mentioned we use terminal services or remote desktops (whichever tickle your fancies)...

1) So, the solution was to log out any users and stragglers still in the system

2) Put the terminal server in install mode (open cmd):

     change user /install

3) Disable antivirus (even if the AV has been configured to skip checking the MYOB directories)

4) Re-install the reporter

5) change user /execute (To place the server back into running mode)

6) Re-enable the AV

And everything went back to normal...

Hope this can help some other poor soul in the future....

All the best and thanks again

Bosco
