installation AE tax 2014.2

Combined installer wants to install Microsoft SQL Server.  We are not running SQL tax.  Is it safe to continue or do I abort the install?

Re: installation AE tax 2014.2

Hi @AnnaB,

Thank you for your post.

The MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) combined installer will prompt a question asking if you are using SQL Tax, which you can answer Yes or No.

However looking at your account I believe you are using MYOB AE Practice Manager which does use SQL.  I would recommend that you call our Support Team first on 1300 555 666 to confirm before proceeding with the install.

Please note that the combined installer does require to be installed on the SQL Server.  If you are not installing on the SQL server but rather on a workstation, this could indicate why it is requesting to install the MS SQL Server.

Cheers,

Linda
