Accountantlink

When I try to use AccountantLink to import April 2023 transactions into the accountant's system I get an error message that says:

 

“You may not export transactions from purged periods. Transactions with a date prior to 01/04/2022 cannot be exported”.

 

The same thing happens when our accountant tries.  The only work around we have found is to roll the file into the 2023-24 financial year, export the data and roll back into 22/23 financial year. Which is not what I want to do.

 

My AccountRight file only started in Feburary 2023 and I have not yet rolled a new financial year in the file.

 

Any others having this issue, how did you fix it?

Hi @rona 

Thank you so much for your post. So that I can better assist can you please clarify if you are using the Import/Export assistant or Accountant Link? If your company file is online you can invite your accountant to access your file to save you having to export the data. I'll give you some help articles with detailed information that may help with your issue:

 

Provide information to your accountant

Invite a user to an online file

Hi Earl

Our accountant does have access to our online file.

The accounting is trying to export the data from my file into his formats using AccountantLink - Send to MYOB Accountants Office.

He gets the message attached.

We have not resolved the matter and help would be appreciated.
