Accountants Office Error Message

Hi,

I'm getting an error message on MYOB AO when I go to open, and MYOB support is now closed for the day?

Anyone know what tyo do to fix this?

The message is:

1429/OLE IDispatch exception code 0 from DAL: The type initialiser for "MYOB.DAL.DALHELPER" through an exception.

Program Section: createtmobject (line 20)

Current Object: taxtmlink.

Thanks

Re: Accountants Office Error Message

Hi @Dannad,

Thank you for your post.

I can see that you've since been in contact with our support team and have resolved the issue.

For the benefit of others coming across this post, I've included the solution provided by our technical support team:

On the SQL Server (or the Main PC), perform the following steps:

  1. From the Start menu, navigate to: Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. The Services list appears.

For Windows 10 follow the path Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Services.

  1. Locate one of the following:

Product

Service Name

Accountants Office (AO)

SQL Server (MYOBACCT)

  1. Right click on the SQL Server and select Stop. The SQL Server is stopped.

  2. Right click on the SQL Server and select Start. The SQL Server is started.

Do post again should you ever need help in the future.

Cheers,
