Statutory Reporter - editing cost of sales in P&L

I am trying to edit the cost of sales section in the P&L to include custom groups as I don't want it to just say 'purchases' on the P&L.  Everytime I enter a custom group it ignores it when displaying the reports or duplicates the accounts in the purchases section anyway.  I delete them & it puts them straight back.  

It also shows the custom groups above 'opening inventories' & you don't appear to be able to move them in account groups.  

Is there any way to fix any of this?

The Cost of Sales section is not able to be changed.
